Depuis sa recherche doctorale sur la repr\u00e9sentation documentaire des ann\u00e9es de plomb allemandes, Jeremy Hamers a consacr\u00e9 une part de ses travaux \u00e0 l\u2019analyse de repr\u00e9sentations visuelles, essentiellement non fictionnelles, d\u2019actes de violence en contexte de lutte politique (attentats, gr\u00e8ves violentes, enl\u00e8vements, s\u00e9questrations, auto-immolations, etc.). Ces travaux visent pour la plupart \u00e0 identifier les enjeux id\u00e9ologiques et politiques des repr\u00e9sentations d\u2019actes violents et, corollairement, \u00e0 requalifier une s\u00e9rie d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nements auxquels une majorit\u00e9 des m\u00e9dias g\u00e9n\u00e9ralistes imposent d\u2019ordinaire un discours disqualifiant et d\u00e9politisant. Ce travail a aussi accord\u00e9 une place grandissante aux textes et images produits \u00ab\u00a0de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur m\u00eame\u00a0\u00bb de la lutte violente et qui en livrent des r\u00e9cits articulant exp\u00e9rience sensible et autor\u00e9flexion politique. Parall\u00e8lement, ses recherches (en collaboration avec Gr\u00e9gory Cormann &#8211; ULg) sur l\u2019\u0153uvre cin\u00e9matographique, litt\u00e9raire et philosophique d\u2019Alexander Kluge, et plus particuli\u00e8rement sur la place qu\u2019y occupe la notion de \u00ab\u00a0sentiment\u00a0\u00bb, l\u2019ont aussi conduit \u00e0 s\u2019engager dans une relecture de quelques h\u00e9ritiers, au sens large du terme, de la th\u00e9orie critique (H-M. Enzensberger, P.
