I completed my B.A. in Egyptology at Leiden University in 2016. My M.A. thesis in Egyptology at Leiden \u2013 supervised by Koen Donker van Heel and Olaf Kaper \u2013 is titled \u2018A Study of Abnormal Hieratic Dots.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">My research interests embrace everything to do with cursive languages (Hieratic, Demotic and abnormal Hieratic). In particular, I focus on scribal practices: paleography and its development, the reuse of documents, and the use of marking systems in administrative texts. I am currently working (together with Elena Hertel) on the edition of the demotic papyri housed in the Vatican Museum. My internship at the Museo Egizio involves the processing of transcriptions, transliterations, and translations of the papyri from the collection into the \u2018Turin Papyrus Online Platform\u2019 (TPOP). This information will be used by the members of the \u2018Crossing Boundaries\u2019 Project to facilitate their research.
