On the 7th of November 2018, members of the ‘Crossing Boundaries’ Project (Kathrin Gabler, Antonio Loprieno, Stéphane Polis, Susanne Töpfer, and Stephan Unter) met in Basel in order to define the general strategy for the project. They made general decisions regarding governance, operations, and administration. Among the outputs of this meeting are the following: (1) to start the project on the 1st of March 2019, (2) to instate the Museo Egizio as full partner, and (3) to set up a joint committee for hiring all PhDs, post-docs, and scientific collaborators.
