Daphné Nuyts

I was first trained as an art historian and archaeologist with focus on museology. During the last year of my MA in museology, I took Ancient Egyptian classes and decided to begin another MA in ancient oriental studies with a major in Egyptian philology. My main interests are oracular practices (and more broadly religious practices) as well as texts written in hieratic script. In the framework of the ‘Crossing Boundaries’ project, I process digital fragments of hieratic texts in order for them to be printed and puzzled together before their virtual reconstruction.
