BIOGRAPHY

I am a PhD student in Egyptology at the Université de Liège with a grapholinguistic project on the mutual influence of the cursive and monumental writing norms. Due to my additional formation as a field archaeologist working in Egypt, my research is centered on the materiality of writing and its contexts. In 2020, during my MA studies at the LMU University of Munich, I came to Liège as an international student where I began working for the ‘Crossing Boundaries’ Project. My main task within the project is to transcribe hieratic papyrus fragments into hieroglyphic text.
